　　今天是兒童節，很多成年人也開始“搭車”過這個本來屬于兒童的節日了，為的是懷舊回憶童年，也為減少工作和生活的壓力。

　　1. in ones second childhood 返老還童

　　My father bought himself a toy train, and my mother said he was in his second childhood.

　　我爸給自己買了一個玩具火車，我媽說他真是返老還童了。

　　2. sleep like a baby 睡得香

　　Nothing can wake me up. I usually sleep like a baby.

　　我睡得很沉，沒什么東西能把我吵醒。

　　3. kids stuff 很容易的事情

　　Climbing that hill is kids stuff.

　　爬那座山太小兒科了。

　　4. like a kid with a new toy/like a kid in a candy store 很開心

　　Every time Bill gets a new gadget for his kitchen, hes like a kid with a new toy.

　　每次比爾往廚房里添個什么新物件，他都像一個得了新玩具的孩子一般高興。

　　5. new kid on the block 新來者

　　Im just the new kid on the block. Ive only been working here for a month.

　　我是公司的新員工，才來了一個月。

　　6. latchkey kid 掛鑰匙兒童（指因為父母忙于工作，放學后獨自在家的孩子）

　　My dad came home ateight in the evening and my mom only an hour earlier so I was a latchkey kid.

　　小的時候我是個“掛鑰匙”兒童，我爸晚上八點才回家，我媽七點回家。

　　7. a whizz-kid 有為青年

　　Theyve taken on some financial whizz-kid whos going to sort all their problems out.

　　他們請了些金融天才來幫他們解決問題。

　　8. a love child 私生子

　　He allegedly has a love child in Australia from an affair with a much younger woman.

　　他們說他在澳大利亞和一個很年輕的女人有一個私生子。
