concept, conception, idea, notion, thought
這組詞都可表示“想法,概念”。其區別是：
idea是日常用語,使用范圍廣,指一種“想法”,也可用于學術方面,指“觀念”“概念”。conception所指的“概念”“觀念”“想法”是哲學用語,指理性的認識與概括的結果。concept指從同類事物中歸納出來的“基本概念”，也指一般人們對某一事物所持有的“觀念”。例如:
